Aquatics

Our pool is a 25-meter 6 lane salt-water indoor pool that is open year-round. Depth ranges from 3 feet to 10 feet. For your safety there is always two lifeguard on duty. The pool temperature is maintained at 83 – 84 degrees. For ultimate relaxation we have a jetted hot tub located on the pool deck. The hot tub is maintained at 102-103 degrees. There are dressing rooms that include lockers and showers; however, participants must provide their own locks and towels. Harbison Aquatics offers daily water aerobics, Lifeguard Training and Recertification classes, and swim lessons.

Pool Rules

The indoor pool temperature ranges between 83 and 86 degrees. The temperature of the spa is maintained at approximately 104 degrees. PLEASE NOTE: Although every effort is made to keep these temperatures constant, they occasionally may vary due to boiler fluctuations, etc.

No diving into the pool is allowed.
Pool closings may occur unexpectedly due to chemical imbalance or for other reasons that cannot be controlled. Any closing will be posted at the entrance to the Community Center as quickly as possible after the decision is made. In the case of thunder and lightning, the pool will open 30 minutes after the last thunder clap is heard.
Swimsuits are required when using the pool or spa(we are a family friendly environment so see our swimwear guidelines below) .
Please shower before entering the pool or spa.
No one under the age of 16 is allowed in the spa.
You must be 16 years old to use the pool, otherwise children must be accompanied by an adult at least 18 years of age.

Swimwear Requirements

All individuals, both on the pool deck and in the swimming pool, must wear proper swim attire.
Infants and toddlers are required to wear a swim diaper.
Individuals can wear clean cotton t-shirts and sarongs on the pool deck only. They must also wear proper swim attire underneath these clothing items.
Underwear and other undergarments are not allowed to be worn under swimsuits.
